This real photo postcard found in Innsbruck is from 1914, making it one of the older images in my collection. To the best of my understanding, this is a ski racing club from Fierberbrunn in the Tyrol region of Austria.
The armbands are curious to me and I am wondering if they are athletic in nature or have something to do with the onset of World War I? Does anyone have any knowledge or thoughts?
