Last week, I spent some very pleasant family time in New Hampshire with family. To say the White Mountains are rich in ski history almost sounds like an understatement. Here are a few vintage photos featuring a ski down the Tecumseh Trail in White Mountain National Forest.
It seems there were two Tecumseh ski trails: one cut in 1934 and abandoned in 1940; a later version created by the CCC in 1937 and eventually absorbed into Waterville Valley ski area in 1965. I am presuming the latter trail is what is shown in these images.
