My favorite example of outerwear customization: Kaylin Richardson’s star pants! Kaylin confirmed the star came to be out of necessity, a patch to cover a hole in the knee. It is a brilliant fix – doesn’t look like a repair, rather a stylish little detail that emphasizes her stoked style.

These Whitedot postcards have been hanging in my office for over a year and I still find the images to be pure inspiration – all clean graphics and intense color communicating raw enthusiasm for skiing!
Jay Peak hosted the fourth and final stop on the 2013 Ski The East Freeride Tour. A two-day event, I was able to watch some of the women run on Saturday (and disappointed I could not make it back for the more “extreme” finals on Sunday). This was my first visit to one of these contests and I loved it – a positive feeling to the entire production and authentic freeride style inspiration everywhere. I was impressed by the relative range of ages and abilities – as well as female participation – and credit Ski The East with creating an inclusionary environment – such a great grassroots way to grow freeride exposure. I look forward to following the tour next winter. . .

Asia Magriby of Meathead fame wears a very cute Oakley jacket with a nice matte/ shine effect for some Jay Peak spring après action.
What I love about this image: the ease in their freeride style; the confidence of tomboy style; simple, clean and bold color blocking of jackets and pants; complementary color play between the two; Peak Performance; and the fact that they are obviously good friends and totally excited to ski!
