ISPO Munich: 1970’s Ski Wear
Today is the opening day of ISPO 2014. Excited to see new product and inspiration!
ISPO 1970: Ski apparel in graphic black and white from the first year of the ISPO trade show in Munich. The annual international trade show is the premier event for retailers to preview and place orders for new wintersport apparel and equipment. The inaugural show consisted of nearly 11,000 visitors and 816 exhibitors in total representing 34 countries. In 2013, the show claimed 80,000 visitors and 2,000 exhibitors from more than 100 countries.
ISPO 1973: NEW SKI FASHION PRESENTED IN MUNICH According to fashion designers’ vote the female skier will look “slim and slender” in the coming season, fitting just tightly into the new colourful ski-suits which come in different colours. Some of them even show stripes or chequers or a printed pattern.

ISPO 2013: Munich, Germany
Here a few shots from the February 2013 ISPO trade show in Munich, Germany — a little preview of Winter 2013/14 apparel.
Luis Trenker: Classic alpine style reinterpreted in gorgeous combinations of natural and synthetic fabrics.

Almrausch: Very sweet with traditional alpine motifs.
Fantastic cape! And I totally appreciate the commitment to down for knickers and a dress. I cannot recall the brand. Does anyone know?
Ortovox: Color block base layer. Ortovox apparel and pack lines are standouts of clean design and crisp coloration.
Black Yak: By far, the most original and thought provoking apparel collection at the show. Unique and sophisticated silhouettes, patterning, colors and material combinations. Serious inspiration!
Rossignol: Happiness!
ISPO 2013: Yellow
Yellow was everywhere at the February 2013 ISPO Munich tradeshow. From gold to lemon and everything in between – the sunny hue appears to be the dominant trend color story for winter 2013/14.
More from the world’s leading wintersport tradeshow to follow soon. . .
